“100% Barbera, matured first in the steel barrel, maturation in the wood of various sizes. The grapes for this particular Barbera are harvested exclusively from the Bricco Rocche location, one of the historically authenticated Cru Eccelsi of the Astigiano (Veronelli).

The essence of a Barbera: deep ruby with purple reflexes, intense, complex fragrance, rich, characteristic bouquet. With one of the most awarded wines of La  Luna del Rospo.    

Renate Schütz studied philosophy and had not planned to become a wine-maker.

But she fell in love with the old winery and worked with perseverance and obstinacy in the matter.
