“Producers Nat Colantonia and Andrea Quaglia met in 2018 during an evening in a pub due to mutual friendships and immediately hit it off thanks to their shared passion for music and wine. After a short time, the two started the Bossanova project from a small plot of just over one hectare planted by Andrea's grandfather in the 1970s. In addition to the traditional varieties Montepulciano and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Andrea and Nat grow Passerina, Montonico, Cococciola and Merlot. This label originates from only red grapes vinified partly on the skins and partly pressed off the skins and then blended, hence the curious label 'Unrouge'.” -Vin Bossanova
